Meet Our Team

Samantha

Meet Samantha Alvis, Team Leader! She's from Arizona, "The Grand Canyon State."

Hello! I believe in the future of agriculture. A simple phrase that has stuck with me since freshman year of high school, leading me to my passions for agriculture, international adventures and sharing knowledge.

This future of agriculture has a great challenge ahead of it — to feed a growing world population. No child should go to bed hungry. The future of agriculture — and the world — depends on collaboration and innovation."

Anthony

Meet Anthony Pannone. He's from California, "The Golden State." He's young, but he cares about food and fiber.

Sup everyone. My passion? Simple. . . .

I believe in farmers and ranchers who provide choices in our food marketplaces. I believe in language that develops human empathy. I believe in leadership. Become self-aware and turn yourself into a leader.

Food and words will always feed our hearts, minds and souls. You and me equals WE, so together let’s spark conversations about how we produce food and knowledge to feed the future and let's make Earth a better place for everyone.

Caroline

Meet Caroline Black, she's a Georgia peach!

As an agricultural producer and consumer, my passion is twofold.

A) ALL who eat should know where their food and fiber comes from. Because of this need for knowledge I have a sincere passion to REACH and TEACH them.

B) Policy and structure MUST be created in support and protection of both the farmer, rancher AND consumer. Sound policy and regulations plus investments in research and technology will help farmers maximize food production safely.

I'm passionate about these two things and plan to seek a career that enables me to be an advocate for both the consumer and the farmer.

Robbie

Meet Robbie Cimmino. Robbie is from a lot of places, growing up as a military kid, he has lived all over the world!

My goal is to use the good within us to build communities.

I believe in partnerships and collective gain. I'm working to find ways to encourage people to share successes and best practices for creating social change, not as easy as I thought.

I've been swept by the impact of food. I don't think a food system has to depend on child labor, slavery or thrive on over-feeding, poor quality and pillaging the earth. I want to apply my passion for overcoming shared challenges to making a better food system based on informed decision-making and healthy consumer based production.

Katie

Meet Katie Heinrich, our only native Texan.  She loves farmers and ranchers, food and fiber.

My passion involves finding a way to share my story and background as a farm girl, while also finding the voice to protect my family’s heritage and lifestyle.

I believe that targeting all children and their perspectives on agriculture will ultimately help educate all families about the agriculture industry.

My other passion is finding ways to continue good, open relationships within the Ag Community (whether with different kinds of producers, a variety of crops or animal production, or across seas with other countries) that will ultimately keep our innovations and progress moving forward.
